Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a translucent member for an ultraviolet light-emitting device, which has a high transmittance of ultraviolet light, and which is hard to cause the decline in the transmittance of ultraviolet light even if a dicing tape is used in manufacturing an ultraviolet light-emitting device; an ultraviolet light-emitting device of which the intensity of light emission is high; and a method for manufacturing such an ultraviolet light-emitting device.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an ultraviolet light-emitting device 20 comprises the steps of: sticking a dicing tape to a plate composed of a translucent member 10 including a translucent member main body 12, and a low-reflection film 14 provided on each side of the translucent member main body so that the low-reflection film 14 is in contact with an adhesive layer of the dicing tape; cutting the plate composed of the translucent member 10 so as to have a predetermined size; separating the translucent member 10 from the dicing tape; and setting the translucent member 10 so that in the ultraviolet light-emitting device 20 having a light-emitting element 24 operable to emit ultraviolet light, ultraviolet light from the light-emitting element 24 is allowed to travel through the low-reflection film 14. In the plate composed of the translucent member 10, the low-reflection film 14 includes hollow SiOparticles and a binder.
【課題】紫外線の透過率が高く、かつ紫外線発光装置を製造する際にダイシングテープを用いても紫外線の透過率が低下しにくい紫外線発光装置用透光性部材、出射光強度が高い紫外線発光装置およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】透光性部材本体12の両面に低反射膜14が設けられた透光性部材10の板に、低反射膜14とダイシングテープの粘着剤層とが接するように、ダイシングテープを貼り付ける工程と、透光性部材10の板を所定の大きさに切断する工程と、透光性部材10とダイシングテープとを分離する工程と、透光性部材10を、紫外線を発光する発光素子24を備えた紫外線発光装置20において発光素子24からの紫外線が低反射膜14を透過するように設置する工程とを有し、透光性部材10の板として、低反射膜14が中空SiO2粒子およびバインダを含むものを用いる、紫外線発光装置の製造方法。【選択図】図4 |
