NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND ROUTE SEARCH METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system and a route search method capable of searching for a route that corresponds to a user's preference without requiring that the user set a search condition each time a route is searched.SOLUTION: A user can set a search condition under which selection is made when the place of departure and a destination satisfy a specific relation in a navigation device in advance separately for each case of specific relation, the set content being set in a route search history storage unit 17. The navigation device 10 is further provided with a route search unit 13 for searching for a route between the place of departure and the destination that are set by the user, and a search condition selection unit 14 for selecting a search condition when the route search unit 13 searches for a route.
