Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprocket and a transmission mechanism that transmit power while evenly contacting the sprocket and a chain in a width direction and suppresses an unbalanced load in the width direction of the chain, and suppresses occurrence of power eccentric to one side in the width direction due to deviation of alignment, suppresses occurrence of vibration or noise and prevents engagement from being released.SOLUTION: In a sprocket 100, a plurality of teeth 110 are formed on the peripheral surface of a body. An engaging part 111 of the tooth 110 is formed at a predetermined height position so that a circumferential thickness continuously changes in a width direction. 【課題】スプロケットとチェーンとを幅方向で均一に接触して力を伝達させて、チェーンの幅方向の偏荷重を抑制するとともに、アライメントのずれによる幅方向の片方に偏奇させる力の発生を抑制し、振動や騒音の発生を抑制し、噛合が外れるのを防止するスプロケット及び伝動機構を提供すること。【解決手段】本体の周面に複数の歯110が形成されたスプロケット100であって、歯110の噛合部111は、所定の高さ位置において、円周方向厚さが幅方向で連続的に変化する形状に形成されていること。【選択図】図1
