SPECTACLE FRAME AND CUSHION MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle frame which suppresses concentration of surplus stress to a lens fitted to a rim, and a cushion material interposed between the rim and lens.SOLUTION: A cushion material is configured so that: a cross section of the cushion material is in an approximately cross shape, an upper piece 14 is protruded above a middle piece 13, and a lower piece 15 is protruded below the middle piece 13; a rim 2 has a slender slit groove in a longitudinal direction; an outer periphery of a lens 8 has a recessed groove 16; the upper piece 14 of the cushion material is fitted to the slit groove provided on the rim 2; the lower piece 15 is fitted to the recessed groove 16 formed on the outer periphery of the lens 8; and the middle piece 13 is interposed between an inner periphery of the rim and an outer periphery of the lens. 【課題】リムに嵌ったレンズに無理な応力が集中しないようにしたメガネフレーム、及びリムとレンズとの間に介在するクッション材を提供する。【解決手段】クッション材はその断面を概略十字状として中片１３の上方に上片１４を突出すると共に下方には下片１５を突出し、リム２には細いスリット溝を長手方向に設け、そしてレンズ８外周には凹溝１６を形成し、クッション材の上片１４をリム２に設けたスリット溝に嵌め、下片１５をレンズ８外周に形成した凹溝１６に嵌入し、中片１３をリム内周とレンズ外周の間に介在する。【選択図】図４
