PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing discomfort imparted to a viewer even when positional deviation occurs between a predetermined object and a captured image displayed being overlapped with it.SOLUTION: A display device is mounted on a vehicle and displays a virtual image of an image by projecting display light for displaying the image on a windshield. The display device includes: display means for emitting display light; identification means for identifying an object W existing outside of the vehicle; control means for displaying a first captured image Va which is recognized by being overlapped with at least one part of the object W in the image; and vibration detection means for detection a vibration amount of the vehicle. The control means displays a second captured image Vb instead of the first captured image Va when the vibration amount detected by the vibration detection means exceeds a threshold value.
