PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footrest.SOLUTION: A footrest 2 is arranged on a back side of a seat Z in front, of seats lined up in a longitudinal direction. The footrest 2 includes a foot supporting mechanism 10 for supporting feet, a switching mechanism 20 for switching a state of the foot supporting mechanism 10, a locking mechanism 30 for locking the foot supporting mechanism 10, an attaching mechanism 40 for attaching the switching mechanism 20 to a seat Z, and an operation mechanism 50 for operating the switching mechanism 20. By the swinging of an arm 22, the foot supporting mechanism 10 can freely switch the state among a storage state, a first use state, and a second use state in which the position or the posture is different from the position or the posture of the first use state. 【課題】フットレストを提供する。【解決手段】フットレスト２は、前後方向に並んだ座席のうち、前方の座席Ｚの背面側に配されるものである。フットレスト２は、足を支持する足支持機構１０と、足支持機構１０の状態を切替える切替機構２０と、足支持機構１０を係止する係止機構３０と、座席Ｚに切替機構２０を取り付ける取付機構４０と、切替機構２０の操作を行なう操作機構５０と、を備える。アーム２２の揺動により、足支持機構１０は、収納状態と、第１使用状態と、位置また姿勢が第１使用状態と異なる第２使用状態の間で、切替え自在となる。【選択図】図１
