Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali metal-sulfur based secondary battery having a long battery life.SOLUTION: An alkali metal-sulfur based secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode and a negative electrode 2, one of which has a sulfur-based electrode active material; an electrolytic solution including a glyme other than tetraglyme, and an alkali metal salt; and a counter electrode 4 to the positive or negative electrode, which has an alkali metal, an alloy including an alkali metal, carbon. The mixing ratio of the alkali metal salt to the glyme is 0.50-2.0 on a molar basis. With the glyme and the alkali metal salt forms, at least a part thereof forms a complex. In a charge/discharge test (Current density=1/12 C; Charge/discharge voltage=1.5-3.3 V, Discharge condition=1/12 C, and 30°C), the discharge capacity-keeping ratio in the 10-th cycle is 85% or more.
【課題】電池寿命の長いアルカリ金属−硫黄系二次電池を提供する。【解決手段】硫黄系電極活物質を有する正極又は負極2と、テトラグライムを除くグライムとアルカリ金属塩とを含む電解液と、正極又は負極の対極であって、アルカリ金属、アルカリ金属を含む合金、又は炭素を有する対極4と、を備え、グライムに対するアルカリ金属塩の混合比が、モル換算で0.50以上、2.0以下であり、前記グライムと前記アルカリ金属塩との少なくとも一部が錯体を形成しており、充放電試験(電流密度=1/12C、充放電電圧=1.5−3.3V、放電条件=1/12C、30℃)における10サイクル目の放電容量維持率が85%以上であるアルカリ金属−硫黄系二次電池である。【選択図】図1 |
