Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a negative electrode for an air battery, which is high in capacity and superior in charge and discharge cycle characteristics; and a solid electrolyte air battery using such a negative electrode.SOLUTION: A negative electrode for an air battery comprises an active material layer including: an active material including a first metal element and capable of occluding and releasing oxygen; and a compound 5 including a second metal element and chemically more stable than the active material. A solid electrolyte air battery comprises: a negative electrode 2 composed of the negative electrode for an air battery; a positive electrode 1; and a solid electrolyte 3 between the positive electrode 1 and the negative electrode 2. In the solid electrolyte air battery arranged in this way, the grain growth and sintering of its active material are suppressed even at a high operation temperature and therefore, a high capacity and superior charge and discharge cycle characteristics are achieved.
【課題】 高容量で充放電サイクル特性に優れた空気電池用負極、およびそれを用いた固体電解質型空気電池を提供する。【解決手段】 空気電池用負極として、第1の金属元素を含み、酸素の吸蔵および脱離が可能な活物質と、第2の金属元素を含み、前記活物質よりも化学的に安定な化合物5と、を含む活物質層を備えるものを用いる。この空気電池用負極を負極2とし、正極1と負極2との間に、固体電解質3を備えた固体電解質型空気電池とすることで、動作温度が高温でも活物質の粒成長や焼結が抑制され、高容量で充放電サイクル特性に優れたものとなる。【選択図】 図8 |
