Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle in which an engine and a throttle body are disposed in a lower portion of a luggage box to configure a motor deceleration assembly, capable of accommodating a helmet in the luggage box with a protruding portion contained therein without increasing the size of the luggage box.SOLUTION: An electric motor 6 of a motor deceleration assembly is disposed in a lower portion of a throttle body 1 so as to be held between an engine 22 and an intake passage 2, an attachment flange 1f whose upper portion projects toward a luggage box 24 is continuously provided on an outer circumference of one side portion of the throttle body 1, a cover 12 defining a deceleration mechanism chamber 13 between the cover 12 and the throttle body 1 is joined to the attachment flange 1f, an upper protruding portion 27 receiving the upper portion of the attachment flange 1f is formed on a bottom wall 24a of the luggage box 24, and the throttle body 1 is configured so that an axis of the intake passage 2 is arranged on one side in a vehicle width direction from a center Y in the vehicle width direction and that the cover 12 is arranged on the other side from the center Y in the vehicle width direction. 【課題】ラゲッジボックス下部にエンジンとスロットルボディを配置し、モータ減速組立体を構成した鞍乗り型車両において、ラゲッジボックスを大型化させることなく、ヘルメットを、その内部に隆起部を収めながらラゲッジボックスに収容し得るようにした鞍乗り型車両を提供する。【解決手段】モータ減速組立体の電動モータ6は、エンジン22と吸気道2との間に挟まれるようスロットルボディ1の下部に配置され、スロットルボディ1の一側部外周に、上部がラゲッジボックス24側に張出す取付フランジ1fが連設され、取付フランジ1fには、減速機構室13をスロットルボディとの間で画成するカバー12が接合され、ラゲッジボックス底壁24aには、取付フランジ上部を受容する上方隆起部27が形成され、スロットルボディ1は、吸気道の軸線が車両車幅方向中心Yから車幅方向一方側に配置され、カバー12が車両車幅方向中心Yから他方側に配置される。【選択図】 図2
