PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information code reading device capable of enhancing security of an information code.SOLUTION: An information code 10 allows a part of a code region 20 to transmit light of a second wavelength band, and is covered by a coating part 11 showing dark color reflection characteristic when irradiated with light of a first wavelength band. When there is a difference between a first code image photographed in a state in which light of the first wavelength band is irradiated and a second image photographed in a state in which the light of the second wavelength band is irradiated, a coating range of the coating part 11 covering the code region 20 based on the difference is detected.
