PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of sheets to be unnecessarily consumed due to printing error during duplex printing, without setting the kind of the sheets stored in a paper cassette.SOLUTION: An operation control section causes a sheet conveyance section to discharge a sheet with an image formed on an even page, to a discharge tray. A receiving section receives an instruction from a user, as to whether the sheet discharged to the discharge tray is an unused sheet with the image formed on one side or a used sheet with the image formed on one side.
