Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reducing the occurrence of low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) in a high-output spark-ignited internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of preventing or reducing the occurrence of low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) in a direct-injected, boosted, spark-ignited internal combustion engine that, in operation, generates a break mean effective pressure level greater than about 1.5 MPa (about 15 bar), at an engine speed of about 1,500 to about 2,500 rotations per minute (rpm). In the method, a crankcase of the engine is lubricated with a lubricating oil composition containing at least about 0.2 mass% of magnesium sulfated ash. 【課題】本発明は、高出力の火花点火式内燃機関における、低速早期点火(LSPI)の発生を減じる方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】作動中に、エンジン速度1分当たり約1,500〜約2,500回転(rpm)において、約1.5MPa(約15bar)よりも高い正味平均有効圧力レベルを発生する直接噴射、給気、火花点火式内燃機関における低速早期点火(LSPI)の発生を防止または減じる方法であって、該方法において、該エンジンのクランクケースは潤滑油組成物で潤滑され、該潤滑油組成物は、少なくとも約0.2質量%のマグネシウム硫酸灰分を含む。【選択図】図1
