VEHICULAR REAR CONFIRMATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular rear confirmation device which can perform vehicular rear confirmation safely and securely at a low cost even in a dark place.SOLUTION: Sheet light 13 is projected from a pair of left and right sheet light projection means 11 to a tire ground contact surface 15 in the rear of a vehicle body thereby forming left and right parallel guide lines 13c on the tire ground contact surface 15 while maintaining a vehicle width interval. Te left and right guide lines 13c can be securely visually confirmed by a back mirror even in night or a dark garage, and therefore, an operator can easily confirm a vehicle width by visually confirming two red guide lines 13c by the back mirror. When an obstacle 16 is present on the guide line 13c, the guide line C is distorted by contacting the obstacle 16, and consequently, the operator can easily confirm presence of the obstacle by visually confirming distortion of the guide line 13c by the back mirror. 【課題】低コストで、暗い場所でも安全確実に車体後方を確認できる車両用後方確認装置を提供すること。【解決手段】左右一対のシート光投射手段１１からシート光１３を車体後方のタイヤ接地面１５に向けて投射し、左右２本の平行なガイドライン１３ｃを車幅間隔を保って車体後方のタイヤ接地面１５に形成する。左右２本のガイドライン１３ｃは夜間や、暗い車庫内でもバックミラーで確実に視認できるので、運転者はバックミラーで２本の赤色ガイドライン１３ｃを視認することによって車幅を容易に確認できる。このガイドライン１３ｃ上に障害物１６がある場合、ガイドライン１３ｃが障害物１６に当って歪むので、運転者はバックミラーでガイドライン１３ｃの歪みを視認して障害物１６の存在を容易に確認できる。【選択図】図５
