Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration power generation device which is capable of efficiently generating power and compact, and a carriage soundness monitoring device including the vibration power generation device.SOLUTION: A vibration power generation device 1 is installed in a railway vehicle 11 and includes: a long plate part 2 including a piezoelectric element; and a support part 3 which is fixed on the railway vehicle 11 and supports the plate part 2 so as to allow the plate part 2 to be distorted orthogonally to a plate surface of the plate part 2. The plate part 2 generates power by flexural vibrations. The carriage soundness monitoring device includes the vibration power generation device 1. The carriage soundness monitoring device also includes a sensor module (sensor) installed in a desired portion in a carriage 12 of the railway vehicle 11; a sensor network module (communication part) for communicating a signal outputted from the sensor module; and a determination part for determining the signal communicated from the sensor network module. The vibration power generation device 1 is installed near the sensor module and supplies power to the sensor module.
