Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp an abrasion loss of a conveyor belt automatically.SOLUTION: A belt body 20 of a conveyor belt 16 comprises: a reinforcement layer 22; a pair of cover rubber layers 24 sandwiching the reinforcement layer 22; and an abrasion visual inspection member 26A. The abrasion visual inspection member 26A has a color which can be distinguished from the belt body 20, is embedded in the upper cover rubber layer 24A, and its cross section gradually changes along a thickness direction of the upper cover rubber layer 24A. An abrasion loss detection part 34A detects an area of the abrasion visual inspection member 26A by image processing, based on image information supplied from an imaging device 32, and detects an abrasion loss of the conveyor belt 16 based on the detected area. A notification part 34B gives a command to a notification device 36 according to size of the abrasion loss of the conveyor belt 16 which is detected by the abrasion loss detection part 34A, for operating the notification device 36 for notifying of a warning. 【課題】コンベヤベルトの摩耗量を自動的に把握する。【解決手段】コンベヤベルト16のベルト本体20は、補強層22と、補強層22を挟む一対のカバーゴム層24と、摩耗視認部材26Aとを備えている。摩耗視認部材26Aは、ベルト本体20と識別できる色を有し、上部カバーゴム層24Aに埋め込まれ、上部カバーゴム層24Aの厚さ方向に沿って断面積が次第に変化する形状で形成されている。摩耗量検出部34Aは、撮像装置32から供給される画像情報に基づいて摩耗視認部材26Aの面積を画像処理により検出すると共に、検出された面積に基づいてコンベヤベルト16の摩耗量を検出する。報知部34Bは、摩耗量検出部34Aで検出されたコンベヤベルト16の摩耗量の大きさに応じて報知装置36に指令を与えることで報知装置36を動作させて警報を報知する。【選択図】図1
