Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber device capable of reliably detecting disconnection of an optical fiber.SOLUTION: An optical fiber device comprises an optical fiber 21 for transmitting light and a disconnection detection part 3 that is disposed along the optical fiber 21 and energized for detecting disconnection of the optical fiber 21. The disconnection detection part 3 is provided with an energized conductive part 31 and a support part 32 for supporting the conductive part 31. A melting point of the support part 32 is lower than a melting point of the conductive part 31, and the conductive part 31 is formed so as to be broken by melting of the support part 32. 【課題】光ファイバの断線を確実に検知することができる光ファイバ装置を提供する。【解決手段】光ファイバ装置は、光を伝送する光ファイバ２１と、光ファイバ２１に沿って配置され、光ファイバ２１の断線を検知するために通電される断線検知部３と、を備え、断線検知部３は、通電される導電部３１と、導電部３１を支持する支持部３２とを備え、支持部３２の融点は、導電部３１の融点よりも、低く、導電部３１は、支持部３２が溶融されることに伴って破断するように形成される。【選択図】図３
