Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure for connecting an exhaust pipe to the exhaust port of a cylinder head, capable of realizing both high productivity and low exhaust resistance.SOLUTION: A connection structure according to the present invention comprises: a flange that includes a cylindrical fitting portion, a bent portion bent outward on a tip end of the fitting portion, and an attachment portion attached to an outer circumferential portion extending outward from the bent portion and located on an outer circumference of the exhaust port of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine; an exhaust pipe fitted into a fitting portion of the flange, and having a tip end surface retreating in a direction apart from the cylinder head with respect to an opposite surface to an attachment surface, which faces the cylinder head, of the attachment portion of the flange; and a weld portion welding the tip end surface of the exhaust pipe to the fitting portion of the flange, and smoothly continuous to an inner surface of the bent portion of the flange.
【課題】シリンダヘッドの排気ポートに排気管を接続する接続構造において高い生産性と低い排気抵抗とを併せて実現することができる接続構造を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る接続構造は、筒状をなす嵌合部、嵌合部の先端側で外方に屈曲する屈曲部、及び屈曲部から外方に拡張し内燃機関のシリンダヘッドにおける排気ポートの外周に位置付けられた外周部に取り付けられる取付部を有するフランジと、前記フランジの嵌合部の内側に嵌め込まれ、その先端面がフランジの取付部におけるシリンダヘッドに臨む取付面と反対側の面よりもシリンダヘッドから離反する方向に退避している排気管と、前記排気管の先端面と前記フランジの嵌合部とを接合するとともにフランジの屈曲部の内面になだらかに連続している溶接部とを具備する。【選択図】図2 |
