Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma apparatus and a metal powder producing method higher in production efficiency by easily removing the deposits stuck to and accumulated on the internal wall of a cooling pipe in a cooling pipe-equipped plasma apparatus for producing metal powder.SOLUTION: The plasma apparatus 1 for producing metal powder comprises: a reaction vessel 2 supplied with a metal raw material; a plasma torch 4 for generating plasma between the plasm torch and the metal raw material in the reaction vessel 2 and for evaporating the metal raw material to produce metal vapor; a carrier gas supply part 10 for supplying carrier gas to carry the metal vapor into the reaction vessel 2; and the cooling pipe 3 for cooling the metal vapor carried by the carrier gas from the reaction vessel 2, to produce metal powder. The cooling pipe 3 is mounted to the reaction vessel 2 at an angle of 10-80° with respect to the horizontal direction such that the downstream side thereof in the lengthwise direction comes higher, and a scraper 20 for removing the deposits stuck to the internal wall of the cooling pipe 3 is fittingly inserted into the cooling pipe 3 from the downstream end of the cooling pipe 3 in the lengthwise direction.
