Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method at a low cost, capable of giving a desired mechanical characteristic to a shaft with a sheave while eliminating the occurrence of deformation brought by heat treatment as much as possible.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a shaft 1 with a sheave includes two or more heat treatment steps including a finish machine work step and a finish heat treatment step. In more details, the method includes: as a heat treatment step that is not the finish heat treatment step, a partial hardening step (B) of applying partial hardening to a root side area 2a of a sheave part 3 in a shaft part 2 of the shaft material 1 with a sheave; as the finish machine work step, a finish grinding work step (C) of applying finish grinding work to the shaft material with a sheave after the partial hardening step (B); and as the finish heat treatment step, a nitriding treatment step (D) of applying nitriding treatment to the shaft material with a sheave after the finish grinding work step (C). 【課題】熱処理に伴うひずみの発生を可及的に排除しつつも、シーブ付きシャフトに所望の機械的特性を付与し得る製造方法を低コストに提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係るシーブ付きシャフト1の製造方法は、仕上げ機械加工工程と、仕上げ熱処理工程を含む2以上の熱処理工程とを備えたシーブ付きシャフトの製造方法であって、仕上げ熱処理工程でない熱処理工程として、シーブ付きシャフト素材1のシャフト部2のうちシーブ部3の根元側領域2aに対して部分焼入れを施す部分焼入れ工程(B)を備えると共に、部分焼入れ工程(B)の後に、仕上げ機械加工工程として、シーブ付きシャフト素材に対して仕上げ研削加工を施す仕上げ研削加工工程(C)を備え、かつ仕上げ機械加工工程(C)の後に、仕上げ熱処理工程として、シーブ付きシャフト素材に対して窒化処理を施す窒化処理工程(D)を備える。【選択図】図1
