Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carotenoid-containing composition that has excellent stability and is useful for skin by preventing aging and preventing or improving skin discoloration.SOLUTION: This invention provides a composition, a skin external preparation, and cosmetics comprising a carotenoid such as astaxanthin and isopropanol, and a carotenoid degradation inhibition method by means of the specific oil solution. Furthermore, triester of 8-12C fatty acid and glycerol, and also vitamin E are comprised to improve the stability of carotenoid. 【課題】安定性に優れるとともに、老化防止、シミの予防・改善等の肌に有用な効果を示すカロテノイド含有組成物の提供。【解決手段】アスタキサンチンなどのカロテノイドとイソプロパノールを含有することを特徴とする組成物、皮膚外用剤、化粧料、及び該特定油剤によるカロテノイドの劣化抑制方法。さらに、炭素数８〜１２の脂肪酸とグリセリンとのトリエステル、さらにはビタミンＥを含有することにより、カロテノイドの安定性が向上する。【選択図】なし
