PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium that prevents abnormal transfer from occurring even at high-speed printing and has high transfer sensitivity at printing.SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive transfer recording medium (1) includes: a base material (10); a thermostable lubricant layer (40) formed on one side of the base material (10); an undercoat layer (20) formed on the other side of the base material (10); and a dye layer (30) formed on a side opposite to the side facing the base material (10) of the undercoat layer (20).
