PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-optic device capable of detecting the displacement of a ferrule from a proper position thereof relative to a sleeve.SOLUTION: In a fiber-optic device 1, a ferrule 122 is provided, in the outer periphery thereof, with a groove part 124 inserted into an operation part 142 and having a bottom part being slidably contacted with the operation part 142, the operation part 142 locking the groove part 124 on both radial or axial sides of the ferrule 122 in order to secure the ferrule 122 and a sleeve 11 when the groove part 124 is located at a prescribed position, the groove part 124 being formed so as to be gradually shallow toward a prescribed position in order for a switch part 143 to be switched on or off when the operation part 142 is located at the prescribed position and when it retracts from the prescribed position. 【課題】フェルールがスリーブに対する適正な位置から変位することを検出できる光ファイバ装置を提供する。【解決手段】光ファイバ装置１において、フェルール１２２は、動作部１４２に挿入され且つ底部が動作部１４２に摺接される溝部１２４を、外周部に備え、動作部１４２は、フェルール１２２とスリーブ１１とを固定すべく、溝部１２４の所定位置に位置する際に、溝部１２４をフェルール１２２の周方向の両側又は軸方向の両側で係止し、溝部１２４は、動作部１４２が所定位置に位置する際及び所定位置から退避する際にスイッチ部１４３がオンオフを切り替えるべく、所定位置に向けて次第に浅くなるように、形成される。【選択図】図２
