PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof heat insulation structure that possess even securer waterproof characteristics and a heat insulation member therefor.SOLUTION: A roof heat insulation structure has each one of a plurality of heat insulation members extending laterally near the edge part on the ridge side of the top surface, and includes a catchment part that receives drainage flowing over another heat insulation member fitted on the ridge side of each of the heat insulation member, and a side end gutter that extends longitudinally at the other side end in the lateral direction and is connected with the catchment part so as to receive drainage from the catchment part.
