Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a print result of high image quality in inkjet printing by serial system.SOLUTION: In performing printing by serial system, when a period from the finish of print operation to the start of sheet conveyance in one movement of a carriage is set as a first period and a period from the start of sheet conveyance to the start of next print operation is set as a second period, the first period and the second period are set according to print conditions. 【課題】シリアル方式のインクジェットプリントにおいて高画像品位のプリント結果を得る。【解決手段】シリアル方式でプリントを行う際に、キャリッジの１回の移動におけるプリント動作の終了からシート搬送開始までを第１期間とし、前記シート搬送開始から次のプリント動作開始までを第２期間としたとき、プリント条件に応じて前記第１期間と前記第２期間を設定する。【選択図】図６
