RENOVATION METHOD OF BOX-TYPE FURNITURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renovation method of box-type furniture in which the positioning of a supporting member for drawers can be performed easily and accurately, when the box-type furniture of a type providing a door in the front opening is renovated into a drawer type.SOLUTION: A renovation method is provided for renovating box-type furniture 1 from a type having a door 7 for opening and closing a front opening part 1a to a drawer type where drawers 8, 9, 10 serving as a storage space are drawn forward and used. In the renovation, rectangular surface materials 12 respectively mounted on rectangular internal surfaces opposed to each other in an inner space of the box-type furniture 1 are prepared previously while fixing supporting members 11 for supporting the drawers 8, 9, 10 so as to be freely drawn forward, and the rectangular surface materials 12 are mounted on internal surfaces of the box-type furniture 1 after removing the door 7, and thereby the supporting members 11 are installed in the inner spatial area of the box-type furniture 1. 【課題】前面開口部に扉を設けるタイプの箱型家具を、引き出しタイプにリフォームするに当たって、引き出し用の支持部材の位置出しを容易かつ正確に行うことが可能な箱型家具のリフォーム方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】箱型家具１を、前面開口部１ａを開閉する扉７を有するタイプから、収納スペースとなる引き出し８，９，１０を前方に引き出して使用する引き出しタイプにリフォームする方法であって、リフォーム時に、箱型家具１の内部空間における互いに対向する矩形状の内側面のそれぞれに取り付けられる矩形状の面材１２を、引き出し８，９，１０を前方に引き出し自在に支持する支持部材１１を固定した状態で予め用意しておき、扉７を取り外した後、矩形状の面材１２を箱型家具１の内側面に取り付けることによって、箱型家具１の内部空間に支持部材１１を設置する。【選択図】図１
