PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return an indication unit to an initial position by continuous hand operation, while controlling reset-to-zero speed.SOLUTION: There is provided a time display mechanism 24 including an indication unit 40 rotating based on an initial position, a display 14 for displaying time information based on rotation of the indication unit, a restoration part 41 for restoring the indication unit to the initial position based on end instruction of display of the time information, and a rotation suppression part 42 for suppressing rotation speed of the indication unit until the indication unit is restored to the initial position. 【課題】帰零速度を制御しながら、連続運針で指示部を初期位置に戻すこと。【解決手段】初期位置を基準として回転する指示部４０と、指示部の回転に基づいて時間情報を表示する表示部１４と、時間情報の表示の終了指示に基づいて、指示部を初期位置まで復帰させる復帰部４１と、指示部が初期位置に復帰するまでの間に指示部の回転速度を抑制する回転抑制部４２とを備える時間表示機構２４を提供する。【選択図】図２
