Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-receiving chip capable of easily inspecting a light-receiving element even in a state before a hole shaped electrode for outputting a received optical signal is formed.SOLUTION: In a light-receiving chip 1, a plurality of light-receiving elements 4 are divided into some element groups 10, a pad 11 for inspection is provided corresponding to each element group 10. Each element group 10 is respectively connected to a common signal line 9 for inspection. Each of the pads 11 for inspection is connected to both an output circuit 12 and an input circuit 13. With a change-over switch 14, each of the signal lines 9 for inspection is connected to either of the output circuit 12 or the input circuit 13 of the corresponding pad 11 for inspection. 【課題】受光信号出力用の穿孔状電極が形成される以前の状態でも、受光素子の検査を容易に行うことができる受光チップを提供する。【解決手段】受光チップ1において、複数の受光素子4を幾つかの素子群10に分割し、各素子群10に対応して検査用パッド11を設ける。そして、各素子群10をそれぞれ共通の検査用信号線9に接続し、各検査用パッド11には、出力回路12及び入力回路13の双方を接続し、切替スイッチ14により、検査用信号線9を、対応する検査用パッド11の出力回路12又は入力回路13の何れかに接続する。【選択図】図1
