SCANNING DEVICE AND SCANNING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning device which allows easy check of a scanning result.SOLUTION: The scanning device detects (S107, 109) the presence or absence of a digital television broadcast wave for each frequency and stores (S113) in a memory the result of the detection from the start to the finish of the detection. The scanning device displays a display screen indicating the result of the detection on the display of the scanning device (S113). In displaying, the scanning device displays, on an identical display screen, information which is stored in the memory and relates to a frequency where the presence of the digital television broadcast wave is detected between the start and the finish of the detection. 【課題】スキャン結果を容易に確認できるスキャン装置を提供する。【解決手段】スキャン装置は、周波数ごとにデジタルテレビ放送波の存在の有無を検出し（Ｓ１０７，１０９）と、検出処理を開始してから終了するまでの検出結果をメモリに記憶する（Ｓ１１３）。スキャン装置は、検出結果を示す表示画面をスキャン装置のディスプレイに表示する（Ｓ１１３）。表示の際、スキャン装置は、メモリに記憶されている、検出処理の開始から終了までの間にデジタルテレビ放送波が存在すると検出された周波数に関連した情報を、同一の表示画面に表示する。【選択図】図１１
