Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device in which transmission power can be controlled appropriately, even if communication is not established between a transmission side communication device and a reception side communication device.SOLUTION: A transmission side communication device, i.e., a welding power supply device 1, includes a transmission unit 13 for transmitting a communication signal, an internal reception unit 14 for receiving a communication signal transmitted from the transmission unit 13, and a control unit 12 for changing the transmission power of the transmission unit 13 based on the intensity of noise superposed on the communication signal received by the internal reception unit 14. Consequently, even if communication is not established between a reception side communication device, i.e., a wire feeding device 2, the welding power supply device 1 can adjust the transmission power appropriately by itself. 【課題】送信側の通信装置と受信側の通信装置との間で通信が確立されていなくても、送信電力を適切に制御することができる通信装置を提供する。【解決手段】送信側の通信装置である溶接電源装置1において、通信信号を送信する送信部13と、送信部13が送信した通信信号を受信する内部受信部14と、内部受信部14が受信した通信信号に重畳されたノイズの強度に基づいて、送信部13の送信電力を変更する制御部12とを備えるようにした。したがって、受信側の通信装置であるワイヤ送給装置2との間で通信が確立されていなくても、溶接電源装置1が送信電力を自分で適切に調整することができる。【選択図】図1
