COLORED RESIN PARTICLE AND AQUEOUS MULTICOLOR PATTERN COATING COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide colored resin particles that enables formation of a vivid and distinct splashy pattern, and an aqueous multicolor pattern coating composition containing the colored resin particles.SOLUTION: The colored resin particles are obtained by bringing an aqueous liquid composition (I) into contact with a metal compound-containing aqueous medium (II), the aqueous liquid composition (I) comprising an aqueous resin (A) having an acid value of 35 mgKOH/g or more of a resin solid content, an aqueous resin (B) having an acid value of less than 20 mgKOH/g of a resin solid content, a colorant (C), and water-soluble polysaccharide (D). A solid content mass of the aqueous resin (A) is in a range from 0.5 to 20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the solid content of the aqueous resin (B); and an equivalent ratio of metal ions is in a range from 3 to 40 with respect to 1 equivalent of total acid groups included in the resin solid content of the aqueous resin (A) and the aqueous resin (B). The aqueous multicolor pattern coating composition contains the above colored resin particles. 【課題】鮮やかではっきりした斑点状模様を形成可能な着色樹脂粒子及びこれを含む水性多彩模様塗料組成物を提案する。【解決手段】樹脂固形分の酸価が３５ｍｇＫＯＨ／ｇ以上の水性樹脂（Ａ）、樹脂固形分の酸価が２０ｍｇＫＯＨ／ｇ未満の水性樹脂（Ｂ）、着色剤（Ｃ）及び水溶性多糖類（Ｄ）を含む水性液状組成物（Ｉ）を金属化合物含有水性媒体（II）と接触させることにより得られ、水性樹脂（Ａ）の固形分質量が水性樹脂（Ｂ）の固形分１００質量部を基準として０．５〜２０質量部の範囲内にあって、水性樹脂（Ａ）及び水性樹脂（Ｂ）の樹脂固形分に含まれる合計の酸基１当量を基準とする金属イオンの当量比が３〜４０の範囲内にあることを特徴とする着色樹脂粒子、及び該着色樹脂粒子を含む水性多彩模様塗料組成物。【選択図】なし
