Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead battery which inhibits cracks of a lid member without adding new components.SOLUTION: A lead battery includes: a group of electrodes 30; a battery case 20 which stores the group of the electrodes; a lid member 50 having a base part 51 sealing the battery case 20 and an installation part 55 extending from the base part 51 to the battery case; a cylindrical bushing 70 provided at the installation part 55; and a pole pillar 90 which is connected with the group of the electrodes 30 and inserted into a cylinder of the bushing 70. The installation part 55 includes a cover part 57 which covers an outer corner part 83 formed by a lower end surface 78 facing the battery case and an outer peripheral surface 76 of the bushing 70. The outer corner part 83 of the bushing 70 has a chamfered shape unlike an inner corner part 81 formed by the lower end surface 78 and an inner peripheral surface 71 of the bushing 70.
