OUTLINE DETECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an outline of an object carried by carrying devices in a predetermined direction.SOLUTION: An outline detection system includes: a first carrying device 110 for carrying an object M in a predetermined direction D; a second carrying device 120 arranged at a distance from an installation position of the first carrying device 110 in the predetermined direction D, and for receiving the object M carried by the first carrying device 110 and for carrying the object M in the predetermined direction D; a plate body 130 arranged between the first carrying devices 110 and the second carrying device 120 at a lower position than each carrying surface of the first carrying devices 110 and the second carrying device 120, and having a pattern of stripes arranged in a direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction D provided on a top surface thereof; an imaging device 140 provided above the plate body 130, and located higher than each carrying surface of the first carrying devices 110 and the second carrying device 120, and for imaging an imaging area extending in the direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction D; and an outline detection device 200 for detecting an outline of the object M on the basis of image data imaged by the imaging device 140. 【課題】搬送装置によって所定方向へ搬送される対象物の外形を検出すること。【解決手段】対象物Ｍを所定方向Ｄへ搬送する第１搬送装置１１０と、第１搬送装置１１０の設置位置よりも所定方向Ｄへ間隔を置いて配置されて、第１搬送装置１１０によって搬送されてきた対象物Ｍが受け渡されて所定方向Ｄへ搬送する第２搬送装置１２０と、第１搬送装置１１０と第２搬送装置１２０との間において、第１搬送装置１１０及び第２搬送装置１２０の各搬送面よりも低い位置に配置されて、所定方向Ｄと直交する方向に並ぶ縞模様が上面に設けられた板体１３０と、板体１３０の上方において、第１搬送装置１１０及び第２搬送装置１２０の各搬送面よりも高い位置に配置されて、所定方向Ｄと直交する方向に延びる撮像領域を撮像する撮像装置１４０と、撮像装置１４０が撮像した画像データに基づいて、対象物Ｍの外形を検出する外形検出装置２００とを備える。【選択図】図１
