PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase having freely drawn shelves and enabled to prevent or suppress the leakage of cool air and the intrusion of ambient air without problems.SOLUTION: A low-temperature showcase S having a shelf 12 in an exhibition room 8 having an openable front face comprises: a bi-parting type transparent door 31 for opening and closing the opening of the exhibition room 8; mounting members 33 and 34 protruded from the upper edge and the lower edge of the opening; and a hinge device 32 attached to the mounting members for hinging the side edge part of the transparent door turnably. The shelf can be freely drawn forward from the opening of the exhibition room, and the transparent door is positioned outer side of the region where the shelf is drawn in an opened state. 【課題】引き出し自在の棚を備えたショーケースにおいて、支障無く冷気の漏洩及び外気の侵入を防止若しくは抑制することができるようにする。【解決手段】前面が開口する陳列室８内に棚１２を備えた低温ショーケースＳにおいて、陳列室の開口を開閉自在に閉塞する観音開き式の透明扉３１と、開口の上縁及び下縁から突出して設けられた取付部材３３、３４と、この取付部材に取り付けられ、透明扉の側縁部を回動自在に枢支するヒンジ装置３２を備え、棚は陳列室の開口より前方に引き出し自在とされており、透明扉は、開放された状態で棚が引き出される領域よりも外側に位置する。【選択図】図１
