Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a strength of waves of a roof while securing a ventilation passage between a roof substrate material and a fascia board member.SOLUTION: In a building with which a ventilation hole for attic space ventilation is provided at a side of eaves, an eaves reinforcing tool (3) is mounted between a roof substrate material (11) and a fascia board member (14). The eaves reinforcing tool (3) includes a base part (31) and a roof supporting part (32). The base part (31) includes: an abutment part which is abutted to wall surfaces (13a) of a plurality of rafters (13) at the side of eaves above the fascia board member (14); a non-abutment part which is not abutted to the plurality of rafters; and a ventilation hole (310) provided in the non-abutment part. The roof supporting part (32) is connected to an upper end of the base part (31), extends in a girder direction while being abutted to a bottom face of the roof substrate material (11), and supports the roof substrate material (11) from below. 【課題】屋根下地材と鼻隠し部材との間に通気経路を確保しつつ、屋根の軒先部の強度を高める。【解決手段】小屋裏換気のための換気口が軒先側に設けられた建物において、屋根下地材(11)と鼻隠し部材(14)との間に、軒先補強具(3)が取り付けられる。軒先補強具(3)は、鼻隠し部材(14)の上方において、複数の垂木(13)の軒先側の壁面(13a)に当接する当接部と、当接部に隣接し、複数の垂木に当接しない非当接部と、非当接部に設けられた通気口(310)とを有するベース部(31)と、ベース部(31)の上端部に連結され、屋根下地材(11)の下面に当接した状態で桁方向に延び、屋根下地材(11)を下方から支持する屋根支持部(32)とを備える。【選択図】図1
