Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saw wire having excellent holding power of diamond abrasive grains and stable cutting efficiency, by producing diamond particles of which the surface is coated with nano carbon fibers, using the obtained diamond particles as the abrasive grains so as to improve adhesion to a plating film.SOLUTION: A saw wire, having a formed plating film with diamond particles dispersed therein, is obtained by producing diamond particles of which the surface is coated with nano carbon fibers by conducting a ligand exchange reaction between an aromatic ring on surfaces of graphitized diamond particles and a ferrocene-containing polymer in the presence of nano carbon fibers, and subjecting the surface of a strand to a plating treatment by feeding the obtained diamond particles into a plating solution. 【課題】本発明は、ナノカーボン繊維で表面を被覆したダイヤモンド粒子を製造し、得られたダイヤモンド粒子を砥粒として用いてめっき被膜との間の密着性を改善して、優れたダイヤモンド砥粒の保持力と安定した切削能率を有するソーワイヤを提供することを目的とするものである。【解決手段】ナノカーボン繊維存在下においてグラファイト化したダイヤモンド粒子表面の芳香族環とフェロセン含有ポリマーとの配位子交換反応をさせて、ナノカーボン繊維で表面を被覆したダイヤモンド粒子を製造し、得られたダイヤモンド粒子をめっき液に投入して素線の表面をめっき処理し、ダイヤモンド粒子を分散しためっき被膜を形成したソーワイヤを得た。【選択図】図2B
