PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical apparatus capable of preventing a circuit breaker from being tripped when electric power is supplied through a plurality of power cords.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 100 includes: input voltage detection parts 142 and 152 which detect input voltages input through a plurality of power cords 140 and 150 individually; a plurality of heater lamps 132 and 134 which are connected to the power cords respectively and supplied with electric power through the connected power cords; and heater lamp control parts 144 and 154 for controlling supply of the electric power to the heater lamps individually. Further, the image formation apparatus 100 acquires the input voltages by the power cords in respective control states when the control states of the heater lamp control parts 144 and 154 are changed from the input voltage detection parts 142 and 152, and determines whether the power cords are properly connected to outlets on the basis of the acquired input voltages. 【課題】複数の電源コードを介して電力供給が行なわれる場合にブレーカが落ちるのを未然に防ぐことが可能な電気機器を提供する。【解決手段】画像形成装置１００は、複数の電源コード１４０及び１５０を介して入力される入力電圧を電源コード毎に検出する入力電圧検出部１４２及び１５２と、複数の電源コードにそれぞれ接続され、接続された電源コードを介して電力が供給される複数のヒータランプ１３２及び１３４と、ヒータランプへの電力の供給をヒータランプ毎に制御するためのヒータランプ制御部１４４及び１５４とを含む。画像形成装置１００はさらに、ヒータランプ制御部１４４及び１５４の制御状態を変化させたときの各制御状態における電源コード毎の入力電圧を入力電圧検出部１４２及び１５２から取得し、取得した入力電圧に基づいて、複数の電源コードが適切にコンセントに接続されているか否かを判定する。【選択図】図２
