Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment system which prevents backflow of raw water to a circulation water drawing pipe and which enhances adaptability to a variation of raw water flow, particularly a rapid increase of the raw water flow even in installation of the water treatment system in a place where infrastructure is not built such as in a developing country.SOLUTION: A water treatment system includes: a reactor by which the raw water to be treated is subjected to anaerobic treatment by an anaerobic microorganism group; and a separator for separating the treated water obtained in the reactor from a biogas. An adjustment tank is provided above the reactor and stores an adjustment water prepared by mixing the raw water with a circulation water which is a part of the treatment water treated in the reactor and separated by the separator to supply to the reactor. A supply pipeline supplies the adjustment water from the adjustment tank to the lower part of the reactor by the tare of the adjustment water, and a circulation pipeline supplies the circulation water which is a part of the treatment water separated by the separator to the adjustment tank by a pump. 【課題】開発途上国等のようにインフラが整備されていない場所に設置される水処理システムであっても、循環水引抜管への原水の逆流を避けるとともに、原水流量の変動、特に原水流量の急激な増加に対して順応力を高める。【解決手段】実施形態の水処理システムは、処理対象の原水を嫌気性微生物群により嫌気性処理するリアクタと、前記リアクタにおいて得られた処理水とバイオガスとを分離するセパレータと、を備えている。調整タンクは、リアクタの上方に原水を前記リアクタで処理され、セパレータにより分離された処理水の一部である循環水と混合して調整水とし、調整水をリアクタに供給するために貯留し、供給配管は、調整タンクから調整水を当該調整水の自重によりリアクタの下部に供給すし、循環配管は、ポンプによりセパレータにより分離された処理水の一部である循環水を調整タンクに供給する。【選択図】図1
