PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle enabling the power of an engine to be taken out from the front part of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A work vehicle comprises: an engine 8 arranged at the rear part of a vehicle body; a gear type transmission device 9 and an HST 10, which change in speed the power of the engine 8 and transmit the same to front wheels 2 and rear wheels 3; a load-carrying platform 7 arranged above at least one of the engine 8, the gear type transmission device 9 and the HST 10; a driving operation part 6 arranged in front of the load-carrying platform 7 for ride of a worker; a PTO shaft 15 provided at the front part of the vehicle body and capable of taking out the power to the outside; and a mechanical type power transmission mechanism 20 transmitting the power of the engine 8 before change in speed by the gear type transmission device 9 and the HST 10 to the PTO shaft 15 via the lower side of the driving operation part 6. 【課題】エンジンの動力を車体の前部から取り出すことが可能な作業車両を提供する。【解決手段】車体の後部に配置されるエンジン８と、前記車体の後部に配置され、エンジン８の動力を変速して前輪２及び後輪３へと伝達するギヤ式変速装置９及びＨＳＴ１０と、エンジン８、ギヤ式変速装置９又はＨＳＴ１０の少なくとも１つの上方に配置される荷台７と、荷台７の前方に配置され、作業者が搭乗する運転操作部６と、前記車体の前部に設けられ、外部へと動力を取り出すことが可能なＰＴＯ軸１５と、ギヤ式変速装置９及びＨＳＴ１０によって変速される前のエンジン８の動力を、運転操作部６の下方を介してＰＴＯ軸１５へと伝達する機械式動力伝達機構２０と、を具備した。【選択図】図３
