INSECT, BIOLOGICAL CONTROL MATERIAL USING INSECT, INSECT PROCESSING METHOD, AND INSECT PROCESSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect such as a ladybug which can be disabled to fly though top wings of the insect has water repellency, and can be abled to fly again, to provide a biological control material using the insects disabled to fly, to provide an insect processing method for disabling to fly, and to provide an insect processing device suitable for the processing method for disabling to fly.SOLUTION: An insect of the present invention is characterized by fixing a top wing meeting line 13 in an adult belonging to order Coleoptera by hot melt adhesives 20. An insect processing method of the present invention includes: preparing a drive unit 31 for sucking air, a suction tube 32 connected to the drive unit 31, and a container 33 with the suction tube 32 connected to the bottom face. The container 33 has an insect placing surface 33c of a mesh preventing the passing of the input insects. The movement of the insects placed on the insect placing surface 33c is inhibited by the suction of the drive unit 31.
