Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a ventilation resistance of a ventilation passage within an indoor unit.SOLUTION: An air conditioner indoor unit comprises: an air conditioner body including a blower 4, a heat exchanger 5, and an electrical component box 6 accommodated in a casing 7; and a decorative panel including a plurality of air outlets and a plurality of air inlets. Air is vacuumed into the indoor unit from the air inlets by the blower 4, passed through the heat exchanger 5, and subjected to heat exchange with refrigerant flowing in the heat exchanger 5. The conditioned-air after the heat exchange is supplied from the air outlets into an indoor space. The casing 7 includes therein a heat exchanger chamber 7a and a tube chamber 7b, the heat exchange chamber 7a being arranged on one side in the casing 7, the tube chamber 7b being arranged on a side opposite to the heat exchanger chamber 7a, and the blower 4 being arranged generally at the center in the casing 7. The electrical component box 6 includes therein a control board installation part located in an upper portion for disposing a control board 11, and a terminal base installation part extending downward and stepwise from this control board installation part for disposing a terminal base 12. A lower surface of the electrical component box 6 is configured to be inclined toward an air intake portion of the blower 4. 【課題】室内機内部の通風経路の通風抵抗低減を図る。【解決手段】空気調和機の室内機は、筐体7内に、送風機4、熱交換器5、電気品箱6を収容した空調機本体と、複数の吹出口と複数の吸込口とを有する化粧パネルとを備えている。送風機により、吸込口から空気を吸込み、熱交換器を通過させて熱交換器内を流れる冷媒と熱交換させた後、この熱交換後の空調空気を吹出口から室内に供給する。筐体内は、熱交換器室7aと、配管室7bとを有し、熱交換器室は筐体内の一方の側に配置され、配管室は熱交換器室とは反対側に配置され、更に送風機は筐体内の略中央に配置される。電気品箱内は、上方に設けられ制御基板11を配設する制御基板配設部と、この制御基板配設部から階段状に下方に延び端子台12を設置するための端子台設置部とを備える。電気品箱の下面は送風機の吸込部に向かって傾斜する構成としている。【選択図】図4
