PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container in which the engagement between an engaging protrusion on the side of a lid body and an engaging protrusion on the side of a container body can be released more reliably and stably.SOLUTION: In a compact container 1, a fully closed state of a lid body 3 can be held by engaging an engaging protrusion 22 formed at an engaging piece 20 provided on the side of the lid body 3 and an engaging protrusion 16 formed on the side of a container body 2 with each other, and the engagement between both engaging protrusions 16, 22 is released by pushing up the engaging piece 20 with a push-up piece 35 which rises as the engaging protrusion 22 on the lid body 3 side moves in a direction of being pressed against the engaging protrusion 16 on the container body 2 side. A push-up force receiving part 24 which receives push-up force from the push-up piece 35 is formed on the outer side of an engaging piece body 21 where the engaging protrusion 22 at the engaging piece 20 is formed. 【課題】蓋体側の係止突起と容器本体側の係止突起との係合をより確実で安定的に解除することができるコンパクト容器を提供すること。【解決手段】蓋体３側に設けられる係止片２０に形成された係止突起２２と、容器本体２側に形成された係止突起１６とを互いに係合させて蓋体３の全閉状態を保持するようにするとともに、蓋体３側の係止突起２２を容器本体２側の係止突起１６へと押し付ける方向に移動するに伴い上昇する押上片３５で係止片２０を押し上げることによって両係止突起１６，２２の係合を解除するようにしたコンパクト容器１において、係止片２０における係止突起２２が形成された係止片本体２１の外側方に、押上片３５からの押上力を受ける押上力受部２４を形成するものとする。【選択図】図４
