Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method that has improved offset resistance during high-speed continuous paper feed.SOLUTION: In an image forming method of fixing a toner image on a recording material with heat and pressure application means to form a fixed image, the heat and pressure application means has a heating member and a pressure member; the heating member has a cylindrical rotating body having a conductive layer, a coil arranged inside the rotating body, having a spiral shape part with a screw axis substantially parallel to a generating direction of the rotating body, and forming an alternating field causing electromagnetic induction heating of the conductive layer, and a core arranged inside the spiral shape part to guide the lines of magnetic force of the alternating field; the magnetic resistance of the core is 30% or less of the composite magnetic resistance of the magnetic resistance of the conductive layer and the magnetic resistance of an area between the conductive layer and the core, in a section across one end to the other end of the maximum passage area of the image on the recording material with respect to the generating direction; and toner particles has 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of resin fine particles adhered to 100 parts by mass of toner base particles, and the glass transition temperature of the toner base particles is smaller than that of the resin fine particles. 【課題】 高速連続通紙時の、耐オフセット性を向上させた定着方法を提供する。【解決手段】 加熱加圧手段で記録材上のトナー画像を定着し定着画像を形成する定着方法において、加熱加圧手段が加熱部材と加圧部材を有し、加熱部材が導電層を有する筒状の回転体と回転体の内部に配置され螺旋軸が回転体の母線方向と略平行である螺旋形状部を有し導電層を電磁誘導発熱させる交番磁界を形成するコイルと螺旋形状部の中に配置され交番磁界の磁力線を誘導するコアを有し、母線方向に関し記録材上の画像の最大通過領域の一端から他端までの区間でコアの磁気抵抗が導電層の磁気抵抗と導電層とコアの間の領域の磁気抵抗の合成磁気抵抗の30%以下であり、トナー粒子がトナー母粒子100質量部に対して0.1〜5質量部の樹脂微粒子を固着させたものであり、トナー母粒子のガラス転移温度が樹脂微粒子のそれよりも小さい。【選択図】 図1
