PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box which achieves good workability in maintenance of a device disposed at the outer side of the glove box and achieves excellent performance of shielding sound such as wind sound.SOLUTION: A glove box 1 of the invention includes: an outer case 3 provided at an instrument panel and having an opening at the inner side of a vehicle cabin; an inner case 2 which is stored in the outer case, closes the opening when being closed, and opens the opening when being opened; a work hole 33 formed at the outer case and used for conducting maintenance of an air conditioner 8 disposed at the outer side of the outer case; and a sound absorption material 5 which is fixed to a wall surface of the inner case, which faces the work hole 33, and closes the work hole 33 when being closed, and releases blockage of the work hole 33 when being opened. 【課題】 グラブボックスの外側に配設された機器のメンテナンスの作業性がよく、風音などの遮音性能に優れたグラブボックスを提供する。【解決手段】 本発明のグラブボックス１は、インストルメントパネルに設けられ車室内側に開口をもつ外ケース３と、外ケースの内部に収容され、閉時には開口を覆い開時には開口を開く内ケース２と、外ケースに形成され、外ケースの外側に配設されているエアコンディショナー８のメンテナンスをするための作業穴３３と、内ケースの作業穴と対向する壁面に固定され、閉時には作業穴３３を閉塞し開時には作業穴３３の閉塞を解く吸音材５と、を備える。【選択図】 図２
