Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of an engine, capable of ensuring coolability of a downstream-side cylinder positioned downstream in a flow direction of cooling water and suppressing variation in the coolability between cylinders.SOLUTION: A cylinder head 4 has a head-side water jacket 60 in which a main flow of cooling water flows in a cylinder row direction of an engine 2. The head-side water jacket 60 has a main-flow channel 61 passing through an intermediate part in the width direction of the cylinder head 4, an exhaust-side channel 62 passing on a side of an exhaust port 72, and an intake-side channel 63 passing on a side of an intake port 73. Second continuous holes 53e and 53f and openings 75h and 75h (only at cylinders #2 and #3) are included as an additional supply means for additionally supplying the cooling water from a cylinder block 3 to the intake-side channel 63 of its previous cylinder in cylinders #3 and #4 following the cylinder #3 downstream in a flow direction of the main flow.
【課題】冷却水の流れ方向下流側に位置する下流側気筒の冷却性能を確保し、気筒間の冷却性能のバラツキを抑制することができるエンジンの冷却構造を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】シリンダヘッド4は、エンジン2のシリンダ列方向に冷却水の主流を流すように構成されたヘッド側ウォータジャケット60を有し、該ヘッド側ウォータジャケット60は、シリンダヘッド4の幅方向中央部を通る主流流路61と、排気ポート72側を通る排気側流路62と、吸気ポート73側を通る吸気側流路63とを有しており、上記主流の流れ方向下流側の気筒#3以降の気筒#3、#4の気筒に対して1気筒前の吸気側流路63にシリンダブロック3からの冷却水を付加的に供給する付加的供給手段として、第2連通孔53e、53f、及び開口部75h、75h(気筒#2、#3のみ)を備えている。【選択図】図5 |
