PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof wall with a simple and low-cost mechanism that makes rotary motion of a sound insulation board smoother when the wind is strong and closes the sound insulation board when it was opened by the wind.SOLUTION: A soundproof wall comprises: a sound insulation board 13 supported rotatably in a frame body 12 with a rotary shaft 15 for the soundproof board and installed so as to open and close an opening 11 surrounded by the frame body 12; and an auxiliary mechanism 100 for opening/closing the sound insulation board that reduces the rotation moment of the sound insulation board 13, and at the same time providing rotational torque to the sound insulation board 13 in the direction to close the opening 11 when the sound insulation board 13 was opened by the wind force. 【課題】本発明は、強風時における防音板の回転運動を円滑にできるとともに、風力により開放された後の該防音板の閉鎖するための機構を、簡単かつ低コストに実現できる防音壁を提供する。【解決手段】枠体１２内に防音板回転軸１５を介して回動自在に支持されて、該枠体１２で包囲された開口部１１を開放又は閉鎖するように設けられた防音板１３と、防音板１３の回転モーメントを小さくするとともに、該防音板１３が風力により開放された際、開口部１１を閉鎖する方向へ該防音板１３に回転トルクを与える防音板開閉補助機構１００とを、を具備する。【選択図】図２
