Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member capable of improving the accuracy of parallelism in a main scan direction.SOLUTION: A cover member 40 includes a transmission member 55 formed along the main scan direction and being for transmitting light emitted from a light source part 20 and a frame member 41 holding the transmission member 55. The frame member 41 includes longitudinal frame parts 42a and 42b formed along the main scan direction and a projection part 48 projecting toward the outer peripheral surface 57 of the transmission member 55 from the inner walls 47 of the longitudinal frame parts 42a and 42b. The transmission member 55 and the frame member 41 are connected by an adhesive filled between the inner peripheral surface (vertical surface 48a) of the projection part 48 and the outer peripheral surface 57 of the transmission member 55, without coming into contact with each other.
