Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that improves a space factor in a slot by reducing the distance between conductor parts of the same phase while sufficiently ensuring insulation performance between the conductor parts of different phases.SOLUTION: A stator 3 includes: a stator iron core 6 having a slot 9; and stator coils 10 of substantially square cross section, each of which has a conductor part 15 and an insulation coating part 16 covering the conductor part 15. In the slot 9, the stator coils 10 of the same phase are adjacent to each other in a radial direction of the stator iron core 6. Outside the slot 9, the stator coils 10 of different phases are adjacent to each other in the radial direction of the stator iron core 6. In a cross-section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of each stator coil 10, the radial dimensions (m2 and n2 in FIG. 6) of the stator iron core 6 are the same in the longitudinal direction of the stator coil 10. The conductor part 15 of the stator coil 10 in the slot 9 is greater in the radial dimension of the stator iron core 6 than the conductor part 15 of the stator coil 10 outside the slot 9. 【課題】異相の導体部の間の絶縁性能を十分に確保しつつ、同相の導体部の間の距離を小さくし、もって、スロット内における占積率を向上させる技術を提供する。【解決手段】固定子3は、スロット9を有する固定子鉄心6と、導体部15と導体部15を覆う絶縁皮膜部16を有する断面略方形の固定子巻線10と、を備える。スロット9内では、同相の固定子巻線10が固定子鉄心6の径方向において隣接する。スロット9外では、異相の固定子巻線10が固定子鉄心6の径方向において隣接する。固定子巻線10の長手方向に対して直交する断面の、固定子鉄心6の径方向における寸法(図6のm2やn2)は、固定子巻線10の長手方向において同じである。スロット9内における固定子巻線10の導体部15は、スロット9外における固定子巻線10の導体部15と比較して、固定子鉄心6の径方向における寸法が大きい。【選択図】図6
