AUXILIARY TOOL FOR OVERCOMING STEP AND WHEELCHAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for overcoming steps in which continuous multiple steps can easily be overcome, and the size of the tool is miniaturized and the structure is simple, and to provide a wheelchair with the tool.SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool 100 for overcoming steps is attached to a wheelchair 1 and used. The auxiliary tool includes an auxiliary tool body 110 and a lifting unit 120 for supporting the auxiliary tool body 110 in a vertically movable manner. The auxiliary tool body 110 has a length in the fore-and-aft direction configured such that a rear end 112a is positioned in the fore-and-aft direction being the same as the ground part 14a of the main wheel part 14 or at the front side therefrom, and a front end 112b is positioned in the fore-and-aft direction being the same as the ground part 12a of the caster part 12 or at the front side therefrom, in the second position where the position in the height direction of the lower edge becomes the same height as the height of the ground part 14a of a main wheel part 14 and the ground part 12a of a caster part 12. 【課題】連続する複数の段差を容易に乗り越えることが可能であると共に、小型で、構造が簡単な段差乗り越え用補助具及び車椅子を提供する。【解決手段】車椅子１に取り付けて使用される段差乗り越え用補助具１００であって、補助具本体１１０と、補助具本体１１０を上下移動可能に支持する昇降部１２０とを備える。補助具本体１１０は、その下端縁の高さ方向の位置が主輪部１４の接地部１４ａ及びキャスター部１２の接地部１２ａの高さと同じ高さとなる第２の位置において、後端部１１２ａが主輪部１４の接地部１４ａと同じ前後方向の位置又はそれよりも前方側に位置し、前端部１１２ｂがキャスター部１２の接地部１２ａと同じ前後方向の位置又はそれよりも前方側に位置するような前後方向の長さを有する。【選択図】図１
