LIGHTING DEVICE AND A LUMINAIRE INCLUDING THE LIGHTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of preventing a light source from being subjected to an excess electrical stress, and a luminaire including the lighting device.SOLUTION: The lighting device includes plural DC-DC converters 21 and 22. Each of the plural DC-DC converters 21 and 22 includes: plural light-emitting diodes 41-45; and switches 51-55 for switching the connection between the light-emitting diodes 41-45 and the plural DC-DC converters 21 and 22. The difference in the rated voltage among the light-emitting diodes 41-45 which are connected to the common DC-DC converters 21 and 22 is set to be smaller than the difference in the rated voltage among the light-emitting diodes 41-45 which are connected to the DC-DC converters 21 and 22 being independent from each other. 【課題】 光源に過剰な電気的ストレスが加わりにくい点灯装置及び該点灯装置を具備する照明器具を提供する。【解決手段】 複数個のＤＣ−ＤＣコンバータ２１，２２を備える。各ＤＣ−ＤＣコンバータ２１，２２には、それぞれ、複数個の発光ダイオード４１〜４５と、発光ダイオード４１〜４５とＤＣ−ＤＣコンバータ２１，２２との接続を切り替えるスイッチ５１〜５５とが接続されている。互いに共通のＤＣ−ＤＣコンバータ２１，２２に接続される発光ダイオード４１〜４５間の定格電圧の差は、互いに異なるＤＣ−ＤＣコンバータ２１，２２に接続される発光ダイオード４１〜４５間の定格電圧の差よりも小さくされている。【選択図】図１
