IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a switch which interlocks with opening/closing operation of two doors, even when the doors are closed strongly or pushed in excessively.SOLUTION: A switch 50 is fixed to a device body. An image forming apparatus includes: an arm 61 which interlocks with two doors to be opened/closed, turns on the switch 50 when both two doors are closed, and turns off the switch 50 when at least one of the doors is opened; and a switch pressing member 62. The switch pressing member 62 includes a projection 62B and an elastic folding section 62C. The switch pressing member 62 is biased toward the switch 50 when a second door is closed, to start the switch 50 via the elastic folding section 62C and the projection 62B. The elastic folding section 62C prevents damage to the switch 50. 【課題】２つの扉の開閉動作に連動して切り換えを行うスイッチを備えた構造で、扉を強く閉めたり過度に押し込んだりしても、スイッチに損傷が生じないようにする。【解決手段】スイッチ５０は装置本体に固定する。２つの扉の開閉動作に連動して、２つの扉の何れもが閉状態のときにスイッチ５０を通電状態とし、少なくとも何れかの扉が開状態のときにスイッチ５０を非通電状態とするアーム６１及びスイッチ押し部材６２を有している。スイッチ押し部材６２は、突出部６２Ｂと弾性を備えた折り曲げ部６２Ｃを有している。スイッチ押し部材６２は、第２の扉を閉めたとき、スイッチ５０側に付勢されて、弾性を備えた折り曲げ部６２Ｃと突出部６２Ｂと介してスイッチ５０を作動させる。弾性を備えた折り曲げ部６２Ｃによってスイッチ５０の損傷が防止される。【選択図】図７
